Hi! This is my first real post tho I’ve been lurking here for a couple of months. I’ve already learned a few things by goin’ thru the forums & I’m looking forward to pickin’ up more info re: this great suv.
My wife & I have our 2010 FX35 for a month now & we love it. We bought it on June 30th after turning in our leased ’07 G35x early. I’ve wanted an FX since they came out but couldn’t swing it until now – I guess it’s true that good things come to those who wait.
Too many great things about the FX to name everything I like about it but at the top of the list: Love the looks (outside & in), the power & the smooth-shifting tranny ( I know some people here have been having issues with the tranny, but so far *knocks on wood* ours has been extremely smooth), the ride, the around-view monitor, the AWD system, the iPod interface & the cooled seats!
No mods planned for the near future (spent too much $$ buyin’ it in the first place) but at some point I’d like to get a CAI & cat-back for it, but I guess that will have to wait for awhile.
Our other ride is a modded ’99 Jeep Grand Cherokee with over 128,600 miles on it. Love Jeepo too, but lately he’s been sitting on the carport while the FX gets to go out & play a lot more often lately.
